  • We are very pleased to announce that the La Popote Restaurant & Bistro is now open for Lunches, from Tuesday to Sunday.

    The extension work is progressing well on the old coffee shop which is in the process of being reinvented as a larger venue which will combine an updated cafe menu with an exciting art gallery.

    The gallery will be run by Lindsay Sommer who had an art gallery in South Africa and curated a number of major exhibitions there. The gallery will showcase local and international artists with sculptures, ceramics and glassware as well as an eclectic display of paintings.

    The revamped area will be completed in early July so watch this space for the opening dates....

    In the meantime the Coffee Shop is operating from 10am to 4pm out of La Popote next door. Visit us for our famous cakes and eats while enjoying the warmer weather in our pretty outdoor area. There is also a substantial lunch menu available with a range of Victor's delicious daily specials.

We continue with our popular music evenings on the 28th July when piano maestro Richard Millington will be playing his mix of laid back jazz, blues and light classical music.
